It is my honor to be currently serving as the Fiscal Officer for Genoa Township.  While the term is up at the end of this year I have already brought some sweeping changes to the office which has increased communication and help reduce spending by giving the Trustees accurate, up to date information. In addition my office has saved the taxpayers several thousand dollars by insuring timely filings and beginning to implement a centralized purchasing policy.  This policy will not come to complete fruition until the beginning of 2008 as that is when we will be able to negotiate new contracts and collaborate with the department heads to choose vendors for the year.  In addition I hired a full time Fiscal Assistant to make sure a continuation of government in the event of an office change, as we just through, or some other type of extended absence by the Fiscal Officer.  Pamela Wolfe is a dedicated assistant with a wealth of financial knowledge, and has become a true asset to Genoa Township.   There has been a lot of hard work, but there is much more to do and I am up to that challenge if you provide me with the opportunity to continue to serve the people of Genoa Township.
